Transcribe Video to Text

Terms of Service

Product: Transcribe Video to Text (Chrome extension and the online library at devexthub.com/app)
Last updated: October 11, 2026

1. The service

Transcribe Video to Text turns the speech in videos you play in your browser into text. It uses video subtitles when they exist and AI speech recognition when they do not. By installing the extension or using the online library you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You can use the free features without an account. Some features, including paid plans, require signing in with Google. A paid plan belongs to the Google account you bought it with and works in every Chrome profile where you sign in with that account.

3. Free and paid plans

4. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns related to payments. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

6. Accuracy

Speech recognition and AI summaries can contain mistakes, especially with music, noise, strong accents or several people speaking at once. Check important text before relying on it.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or work on every website. We may change, add or remove features. If a change removes something you paid for, you can ask for a refund for the unused part of your plan.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.

9. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
